Decolonial Travel Guide Tanzania

Delphine Froment ist außerordentliche Professorin für Zeitgeschichte an der Universität Lothringen (Nancy, Frankreich). Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Kolonial- und Imperialgeschichte Ostafrikas sowie die Geschichte der Erforschung und Bergkunde. Ihre Doktorarbeit widmete sie geografischem Wissen, Darstellungen und imperialen Konstruktionen im Zusammenhang mit dem Kilimanjaro im 19. Jahrhundert. Ihre Doktorarbeit wird derzeit von Éditions de la Sorbonne veröffentlicht.

Utafiti wake unalenga historia ya ukoloni ya Afrika Mashariki pamoja na historia ya utafiti na taaluma ya jiolojia. Delphine Froment is an associate professor in contemporary history at the University of Lorraine (Nancy, France). Her research focuses on colonial and imperial history in East Africa, as well as the history of exploration and mountain studies. She dedicated her PhD thesis to geographical knowledge, representations, and imperial constructions related to Kilimanjaro in the 19^th century. Her PhD thesis is currently being published by Éditions de la Sorbonne.
